Successful New Zealand Study Tour

Despite breaking the rules about back seat driving, the principals were well behaved on our inaugural Study Tour. Landing in Christchurch and spending an intensive three days with the New Zealand Graduate School was a great start to our nine day trip together. Added to the time in Christchurch was a visit to Middleton Grange School, and a fantastic night of fellowship and conversation over dinner with Roshan Allpress, one of the authors of The Insect and the Buffalo (a great little book we sell on our eStore).

Onwards to Auckland and the sights and sounds of a bustling city (and some wet, cold weather). We visited the exciting Elim College and Kingsway School. A weekend break meant we had an opportunity to explore, unwind, debrief, see a show, and attend church in a beautiful glass chapel in Parnell. A side trip to Hobbiton on the way to Tauranga was a welcome day of fun and fellowship. Visits to Bethlehem College and the Bethlehem Institute were a great way to finish the school visits, and a special dinner back in Auckland on the final night was delightful.

Further connections have been made and conversations will continue with our NZ friends.

Due to the success of the Study Tour, dates will soon be released for the next one in 2017. Please register your interest with Melinda Storm
